Research Scientist

Job Description:

Invisible Sentinel is seeking an energetic and highly motivated research technician with an educational and technical background in the fields of microbiology, bacteriology or immunology. The successful candidate will need to be familiar with basic molecular biology laboratory techniques. This person will be responsible for running routine experiments and tests by following existing procedures and/or detailed protocols for the development of a novel bacterial detection assay. The core responsibility for this position will be performing experiments under the supervision of senior research personnel as well as managing the upkeep of the laboratory and executing various administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • B.S or M.S. in biological sciences with a minimum of 3 years laboratory research experience. 
  • Background in basic molecular biology techniques, preferably in the fields of bacteriology or immunology.
  • Team-oriented and pro-active attitude; ability to communicate and interact effectively with management as well as lab personnel. 
  • Expression, purification and characterization of monoclonal antibodies.
  • Manage lab resources and assess performance of team members.

Requirements:

  • Strong background and expertise in molecular biology, bacteriology and/or immunology.
  • Experience with expression, purification, and characterization of monoclonal antibodies is required.
  • Proven track record and in-depth knowledge of current antibody engineering literature and characterization protocols.
  • Team-oriented and pro-active attitude; ability to communicate and interact effectively with management as well as lab personnel.
  • Constructively contribute to decision-making and optimization of assay design.

Director of Marketing and Sales

Job Description:

Invisible Sentinel is seeking a talented and highly experienced Director of Marketing and Sales with success in leading diagnostic business and global product development goals, negotiating deals and commercial assessments in a proactive, effective and aggressive manner. The ideal candidate will have expertise in food diagnostics marketing with over 5 years industry related successes. Experience with national and international business development with a proven track record of success. Candidate will also need to have a technical understanding of immuno-diagnostics. Core responsibilities include, initiating, assessing, and negotiating potential deals and developing marketing strategies for the Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct strategic commercial assessments and provide analysis of new business opportunities that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Lead and manage multiple business initiatives with the business and product development lines to meet assigned goals.
  • Create marketing programs to deliver on annual sales goals and launch new product lines.
  • Initiate and complete licensing arrangements and product/technology acquisitions.
  • Maintain and manage portfolio of existing products.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the company: Executive leadership, Sales, R&D, Legal, Regulatory Compliance to drive alignment throughout.
  • Manage complex commercial assessments and contract negotiation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in life sciences, Business/Marketing and/or Product Management. Preferred: Advanced Degree (PhD, M.D., PharmD, MS) in life science or other related technical course of study required. MBA from a top-tier institution strongly preferred.
  • Candidate will have expertise in immuno-diagnostics marketing with over 5 years industry related experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience successfully interfacing with national and international customers as well as internal departments including Sales, Marketing, and R&D. 
  • Understanding of biological sciences and bioengineering, particularly immunoassay development.
  • Team-oriented and pro-active attitude.
