Our core competencies in antibodies and immunoassays, along with our knowledge of food safety regulations and policies, strongly position us to capture market share as we design and deliver disruptive, next generation products that address unmet needs in the marketplace.

As a developmental stage company focused on on-site, rapid diagnostics, we are initially targeting the four bacterial strains that cause the majority of non-viral foodborne illnesses:  E. coli O157:H7, Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter jejuni, and Salmonella enterica.

Our initial target market is the food industry—specifically meat, poultry, and dairy. But our platform technology holds the potential for a broad spectrum of applications within multiple industries. The potential exists for the creation of several diverse product lines targeting various markets.

We believe that the key to success in the food industry is providing manufacturers and processors with practical, rapid, easy-to-use, sensitive, and cost-effective solutions that adopt standard sampling protocols—and that can be efficiently incorporated into current quality and safety programs. We envision that our “Sentinel” technology will become the standard in an industry that spends more than $1 billion annually to combat microbial contamination.
