Advanced Sentinel Optics
Removing objectivity and the possibility for human error from visual analysis is important for any diagnostic. We therefore have configured each of our on-site Sentinel Platform Designs with the option of incorporating optical readers. These advanced technologies allow the reader to detect antigenâantibody interactions with much higher sensitivity and accuracy. And they can perform both qualitative and quantitative analyses for determining the level of a specific pathogen present in a sample, which can be critical for determining the degree of contamination. These instruments also offer the practical advantage of data recording and time stamping results by integrating with a computer and/or company database. The Desktop Sentinel, in particular, can be fully automated with a built-in optical reader and computer interface.
